To create tweed nails, you will need the following items: 

 

• Base gel 

• Coloured acrylic powder 

• Fluffy brush 

• Blue gel polish 

• Black gel polish 

• White gel polish 

• Silver glittery gel 

• Ombre brush 

• Liner brush

• UV/ LED lamp

 

How to Create Textured Tweed Nails 

 

Once you have all the items ready, you can start creating your tweed nails by following these simple steps: 

 

Step 1: Apply the base gel but do not cure. 

 

 

Step 2: Sprinkle coloured acrylic powder into the wet base gel. Be careful not to touch the surface. Cure. If you have to, you can repeat this step one more time to make sure your surface has got a good texture to it. 

 

 

Step 3: Use a fluffy soft brush, to brush off the extra coloured acrylics from the nail. 

 

Step 4: With your ombre brush, paint on horizontal and vertical lines with blue gel colour. Cure. 

 

Step 5: Do the same with black gel colour. cure. 

 

Step 6: Continue doing it the same way with glitter gel. 

 

Step 7: do the same with white gel polish. 

 

 For more precise lines, you can use a liner brush.
