How to Set Up Your Workspace

Nail technicians change workspace 5 or 6 times during their career. That's an average number. I must admit, I am above that number.🙈 I have just counted and I have moved rooms (from smaller to bigger; from one floor to the other) and spaces 9 times since I moved to the UK in 2010.

But with every move, I have learnt something new.

I have learnt

✅ where to set up my new desk
✅ what type of chair to sit on without backache
✅ what type of chair shall I get for my clients that suits all of them
✅ what to put on the walls if any
✅ how to dress to impress 🤣
✅ what to wear to protect myself
✅ what is the best lamp to take pictures
✅ what is the best lamp to do nails
✅ salon hygiene
✅ waste disposal, bin issues and many more. 

I discuss all of these topics and many more during my beginner classes. It is important to know where to start, and how to set up your new workspace.

I am not saying my way is the best way or the only way but it could give you some ideas or indication if you are struggling with the above.

So you could set up your own workspace without any mistakes.

Because mistakes cost money. And in our business, it is usually a lot of money. 😭
